Mary's (Adelaide Kane) marriage to Lord Darnley (Will Kemp, pictured here) might trigger a war between England and Scotland in “Reign” Season 4, episode 6. John Medland/The CW

Mary, Queen of Scots (Adelaide Kane) and her people finally started trusting Lord Darnley (Will Kemp) in “Reign” Season 4. The latter fought bravely in a boxing match with a Scottish noble in order to prove his loyalty to his fiancée and her countrymen. The couple shared a passionate moment in The CW series’ episode last week.

Unfortunately, the situation in French court worsened with rumors of King Charles (Spencer MacPherson) threatening his reign. Towards the end of episode 5, he decided to disappear. The poor monarch wasn’t a necrophiliac or a vampire as many believed. Instead, he was simply reliving the horrors he experienced in the woods while fleeing the Red Knights.

Furthermore, Leith (Jonathan Keltz) returned to French court to find Claude (Rose Williams) wed to Narcisse’s son Luc (Steve Lund).
