A Passionate and Die-Hard MLB Fan’s Reaction to 2013 Hall of Fame “Vote”

On a day many Major League Baseball fans await for besides Opening Day of the coming season turned out to be one many wish never came. On January 9th, 2013 the Baseball Writers of America’s results for the 2013 Hall of Fame class were announced. Many believed with the most well known class and high talented class in years put on the ballot for the first time that we could see one or more added to baseball’s glory of a museum. Even with the “steroid” and “PED” name tagged all over this class fans believed at least one would get in. In the end we saw NONE! Not ONE! Not even ONE! And for this passionate and die-hard fan of America’s past time since I was born I feel let down by the game and the people who write about this sport in which I love.

NFL Week 16: San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle Seahawks, Playoff Birth and a Division Title on the Line & The Rivalry: Harbaugh vs. Carroll

on December 23 2012 5:30 PM

Are you ready for tonight? You better be! It is time for again maybe the biggest game of the year for football fans and San Francisco 49er/Seattle Seahawk fans as well. Actually…IT IS THE BIGGEST GAME OF THE YEAR FOR BOTH TEAMS! Who doesn’t love coaching rivalries with men that hate one another. This is truly the game to watch this Sunday. It’s Harbaugh versus Carroll, Russell Wilson versus Colin Kaepernick, 1st Overall Defense San Francisco versus 2nd Ranked Overall Defense Seattle, and the fight for the NFC West Division title with playoff implications. Nothing gets better than a game with so much meaning to it and story lines.

Although past all of those story lines there is a game to be played. The San Francisco 49ers are one win away from taking the NFC West Division title in back to back seasons in over a decade. The Seattle Seahawks are looking to make the playoffs once again and look to become the first team in decades to score 50 points in three straight games. We all can look up the statistics of both teams and the records, so I say lets cut to the chase. Here are my three top keys to watch during this Sunday night’s game on NBC.

NFL Week 15 Preview Matt Ryan vs. Eli Manning, Atlanta Falcons vs. New York Giants Preview, Where To Watch Online And 3 Keys Game,

NFL Week 15 Preview Matt Ryan vs. Eli Manning, Atlanta Falcons vs. New York Giants Preview, Where To Watch Online And 3 Keys Game,

As we are now just three weeks away from the 2012 regular season ending the Atlanta Falcons and New York Giants meet once again in Georgia. The Giants have been dominating the Falcons in Atlanta in past seasons and hold as of now a 7-0 record the last seven games in the Georgia Dome. Though this game comes after the Giants slaughtered Matt Ryan and the Falcons in January’s post season match-up 24-2.

Since we last saw these two teams play back in January the Giants have beaten the Patriots in Superbowl 46 and Atlanta in 2012 is 11-2 coming off another division loss to the Carolina Panthers. Once again Eli Manning and the Giants have stepped it up in the 2nd half of the regular season bringing them inches closer to another playoff birth once again. Matt Ryan though is looking to prove all of his doubters wrong by beating the defending champs and taking a hold of the NFC’s number one seed and moving past the first round of the playoffs for the first time in his young career.

NFL Week 11 Preview: New Orleans Saints vs. Oakland Raiders, 3 Keys To A Raiders Win

Wow! Can you believe that we are six weeks away from the National Football League 2012 regular season to finally end. This has been an unbelievable season. Many ups and downs for many teams just like one of them in this article today.

NFL WEEK 9 PREVIEW: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Oakland Raiders, Fight for .500 Record

NFL WEEK 9 PREVIEW: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Oakland Raiders, Fight for .500 Record

As we have now passed the half way mark of the 2012 NFL season both Tampa Bay (3-4) and Oakland (3-4) are under new rookie NFL head coaches. Though one team I believed to have had a better chance with a new head coach to make the playoffs in 2012, the Oakland Raiders, have truly not looked good enough for postseason football as of yet. Both teams are coming off big wins the Raiders beating divisional rival Kansas City 26-16 and the Buccaneers beating a Viking team who was undefeated at home 36-17.

Tampa Bay is coming off their bye week and should be very much prepared to face an Oakland Raider team who in the last two weeks has beaten two terrible teams in the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Kansas City Chiefs. Although both of those games have been closer than they should have been, especially the Jaguars game going into overtime after they lost Maurice Jones Drew earlier.

Tampa is looking to continue their winning ways and get even in the standings, but Oakland who has won two straight ugly games and has looked good combined the last three weeks after their bye to get even as well.
