A man questioned in connection to the case of missing baby Lisa Irwin has been charged with first-degree assault in an unrelated incident. Dane Diggler Greathouse, 28, has been charged for stabbing Greg R. May this weekend in Gladstone, Mo. Baby Lisa's parents, Jeremy Irwin and Deborah Bradley, claim missing baby Lisa was taken from her crib late Oct. 3, 2011 while Bradley was asleep and Irwin was at work. The one-year-old remains missing.

The Red Cross (ICRC) told Reuters that the humanitarian aid organization is negotiating with Syrian officials and opposition fighters in Syria in an attempt to cease fighting in the country temporarily. Quincy Hedges, a 17-year-old teenager, was killed in a New York State Thruway crash in Plattekill, N.Y. Saturday when the car in which she was traveling veered off track and struck a tree. Two others, driver Daniel Brown and passenger Connor Vasquez, were both wearing seatbelts and were treated for minor injuries at a hospital in Poughkeepsie.

Flames engulfed a five-floor Hoboken building for nearly 12 hours late Sunday. Three residents suffered smoke inhalation and over a dozen were left homeless after the fire. The Hoboken fire started at around 7 p.m. Sunday in a building on Washington Street. Firefighters from Hoboken, Newark and Elizabeth rushed to the scene, but the stubborn fire was not extinguished until early Monday.

The remains of an 11-month-old girl found in Virginia are not those of missing baby Lisa Irwin according to Kansas City Police. Kansas City police spokesman Steve Young told KMBC that police are aware of the remains, but that tests indicate the remains did not belong to baby Lisa.
