Liverpool player Nuri Sahin who is currently on a season long loan from Real Madrid has revealed that his former team mate Kaka will leave the Spanish club in the winter transfer window. Sahin claims Kaka has already made a decision about his future
Kaka has been dropped the order even before the arrival of Luka Modric. The Former world player of the year has not featured this season, and is looking forward for the January exit.
Speaking to NTVSport Sahin said “I know he had an offer from Turkish football. And I know what decision he is taking in the winter market, but I cannot reveal that”
Speaking about his own decision to join Liverpool, the player revealed he had several meetings with his former boss Jose Mourinho who advised him to join the Reds.
“I went out on loan after three meetings with Mourinho. I chose Liverpool because I wanted to play at a club with a historical tradition”
Former Arsenal skipper Cesc Fabregas has made his intentions very clear and is in no mood to leave the Spanish Giants. Barcelona signed Fabregas from the North London club during the last summer transfer window.
Fabregas rubished the rumours surrounding his departure from the Catalan club and insisted that he is happy with his current club. The Spaniard went on to accpet that he has to prove his worth at the club week-in, week-out, if he is to remain key to Tito Vilanova's plans.
"I said when I signed here that it was going to be the most exciting and difficult challenge of my life. I knew I was coming here to compete for a place against the best players in the world" Fabregas said.
"But I like big challenges. If I didn't, I would have stayed at Arsenal where I was the captain, where I played every game and where I was treated so well. I would never have taken the big step and the huge risk to sign for Barca and fight with the best players in the world for a place in the team especially as there were never any guarantees given that I would play.
Manchester United won their match comfortably in second half scoring four goals against Wigan Athletic. United's match against Wigan will be remembered by many as it was a landmark match for Ryan Giggs playing his 600th League Game, Paul Scholes with his 700th game for United and Rio Ferdinand playing his 400th game for the Old Trafford outfit.
To add this landmark, United's new summer signings Alexander Buttner and Nick Powell not only made their league debut but also managed to get their name in the scoresheet. United did manage to record their first clean sheet after having a not so-good start for their new campaign.
Sir Alex Ferguson was not happy the way United played in the first half with Javier Hernandez missing the penalty for United.
"It wasn't a great penalty. It can affect you a little bit in the sense you think you're having a good start but have to start again. We had a lot of strikes on goal in the first half without scoring. Danny Welbeck, in particular, had five strikes on goal" Ferguson said whil speaking about United's first half performance
Manchester United's new left-back Alexander Buttner had a dream start to his United career. Sir Alex Ferguson has been looking for a replacement for Patrice Evra who has not managed to up his standards during last season and this seasons game. With Evra not fit enough to start for United, Ferguson gave the Dutchman a berth in the starting XI against Wigan Athletic.
Buttner did not disappoint his boss today as he managed to score his first goal for United. More importantly Buttner had a role in helping United to their first clean sheet of their new campaign.
Speaking to MUTV, Buttner said "If I play I want to let him [Sir Alex Ferguson] see that I can do a good job. Today I think I did that.
"I'm happy that I can play my first minutes in the first team. It's great that we won and I scored and gave a pass for Chicharito to score. It's a dream for me."
1. Manchester United Did Manage To Take Their Revenge
Sir Alex Ferguson's men did take their revenge of last season's defeat against Wigan Athletic which eventually caused them the League Title. However things were different when the two sides met once again at Old Trafford this Saturday. United not only managed to stop Wigan from scoring but ended up putting four goals behind Wigan's net. The victory would come as revenge for most of the United players.
2. Patrice Evra Has Tough Competition
Sir Alex Ferguson gave his new signing Alexander Buttner a place in the starting XI against Wigan as United's first choice left-back Evra wasnot fit eough to start. The Dutchman made his first team debut for United and has not disappointed his manager. Buttner managed to score a goal which was very well engineered by him. Looking at Buttner's game Ferguson will have tough time in selecting left back for United, also Evra will need to improve his game in order to keep his place in the starting XI.
