Reuters/u. Michigan Consumer sentiment Index has declined to 70.6 in October from 73.5 in September, although yet above the 70.1 points market consensus. The Assessment of the current conditions, however, has improved, 73.7 in October, from 73.4 in September, although the expectations index deteriorated to a level of 68.6 in October from 73.5 in September.

EUR/USD remains moving above 1.4785 support levels on retreat from 1.4855 intra-day high, while the GBP/USD retreat from 1.6600 reaches levels right below 1.6500 at the moment of writing. USD/JPY remains moving in a range from 90.80 to 91.20 after having turned down from 91.60.
