Charlotte (Christa B. Allen) may be getting out of rehab sooner than we thought! On Friday, the 23-year-old “Revenge” actress posted an alluring image to Instagram that teased her possible return to Season 4 of the hit ABC series. The caption-less photo featured Allen holding a script from the drama series while she simultaneously held her pointer finger up to her lips as though she had a secret to keep. Could the hush-hush news Allen shared on social media involve her character's return to the show?

In November, Allen temporarily left the drama after she landed a gig on the ABC Family comedy “Baby Daddy.” It was revealed the brown-haired beauty was cast as the recurring character Robyn, a “funny, smart and athletic” corporate lawyer who worked alongside Riley (Chelsea Kane). Allen dished to TVLine that after working six years on the intense drama “Revenge” it was a nice change of pace to partake in a light-hearted TV series. “It’s nice to go to work and just laugh,” she confessed.

The last time fans saw Victoria’s (Madeline Stowe) beloved daughter she was doing anything but smiling as she packed her bags for a rehabilitation center in order to control her substance abuse. “I just wanted to say goodbye,” she said to her mother in the 2014 episode titled “Damage.” “I’m taking control of my own life. I’m checking myself into rehab.”

Victoria’s eyes were swollen with tears as she embraced her daughter and her decision to get help. “I know some excellent facilities,” she said, holding Charlotte tight. But Charlotte had no interest in her mother’s recommendations nor did she want Victoria knowing where she would be receiving treatment. “A large part of me doing this has to do with me getting away from you and your lies,” she said in reference to David (James Tupper) not knowing Emily’s (Emily VanCamp) true identity. “I’m sick of being caught between you and Emily and your cycle of hate. I want out,” she said before slamming the door behind her.

But if Charlotte returns, she’ll only be greeted with more drama following the brutal deaths of her brother (Joshua Bowman) and unborn niece/nephew -- both of which Victoria blames Emily for.
