Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp) is putting a kibosh on her vengeance-seeking mission. Sunil Nayar, the executive producer of “Revenge,” confirmed to Entertainment Weekly on Wednesday that the beloved ABC drama, which first premiered in 2011, would be concluding its series run after four seasons.

“We can officially tell our fans that this will be the end of our story,” Nayar announced. “We’ve been talking to the network and we all just wanted to make sure that we felt very confident. Now that everybody has seen the finale -- which is fabulous -- everybody understands that as much as we all adore the show, it has hit exactly the mark it needed to to end. This is the series finale of ‘Revenge’ that will be airing in a couple weeks.”

The “Revenge” series finale will air on Sunday, May 10.

In May 2014 Nayar dished to TV Guide on Season 4, which he described as the “reincarnation” of the show.”

“We do so many things that our audience never thought we would and things our audience wouldn't deem imaginable,” he said, before divulging what the finale would entail. “At the end of the day, we'll have a spectacular [Season 4] finale, but also leave the audience wondering properly and wonderfully where we're going and those are things we can't wait to figure out.”

Although there won’t be a Season 5 to continue the action-packed storyline, we can only imagine “Revenge” will end with a bang. According to ABC TV executive Paul Lee, the finale will also include closure for fans of the thrilling series. Below are our theories for the final episode of “Revenge”:

1. Emily Dies

In the beginning of the series, Confucius was quoted, stating, “Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves.” And sure enough, the series finale of “Revenge” is titled “Two Graves.” So, which character might end up being buried six feet under? We think it could be Emily/Amanda who will meet her demise following the reveal of Victoria's (Madeline Stowe) fiery fate.

2. David Dies

David's (James Tupper) cancer diagnosis makes him another character who could be on the series finale chopping block. Emily is so close to living her happily ever after with her father (well, once she proves she’s innocent of Victoria’s murder) so it wouldn’t surprise us if the one person she loved most in the world was ripped from her clutches, again.

3. Charlotte Kills Emily

She’s back! Charlotte (Christa B. Allen) teased her return to the series when she posted an Instagram image of herself holding a “Revenge” script in March. But what does Charlotte’s return mean for her half-sister Emily?

Well, considering we know the two don’t exactly see eye-to-eye (remember Charlotte once tried to set Emily on fire), we can only assume her return to The Hamptons will mean even more trouble for Em -- maybe even death.

4. Charlotte Becomes The New Emily

Emily hasn’t been the only one scorned during “Revenge.” Charlotte has also had an excruciating, painful life. The father she was raised by isn’t her father at all (and he’s dead), her brother died, and her mother has perished at the hands of her half-sister.

We think the series might conclude with Charlotte being the one to break out the red sharpie as she hunts down those who have hurt her. And who would she start with? We're placing our bets on Emily.
