Many fans were surprised following Sunday night’s “Real Housewives of Atlanta” episode when cast member Kenya Moore began to cry about her marriage to Marc Daly and her fear of getting divorced.

During Season 10, episode 2, Kenya had an emotional breakdown about the media attention that her marriage was receiving and how she was worried that it was all too much for her husband, who is a private person.

On Tuesday, Kenya shared a picture of herself and Chef Roble, who introduced the star to her husband. In the caption, Kenya shared a snippet from her blog on Bravo, explaining the emotional moment regarding her marriage.

The reality star revealed that the only reason why she showed her vulnerable side was because she did not know it would end up on the series. “I was not aware I was being recorded and during my private conversation. I was only 2 weeks into my marriage and as a newlywed, I was supposed [to] be in wedding bliss, but I was not,” she explained.

“We were targeted with so much hatred, negativity and interference at that time I was overwhelmed and emotionally drained. The things that people did to try to hurt us was incredulous to me. I was breaking down over the things people would say to him about me in hopes of tarnishing his image and love for me.”

While Kenya and Marc initially had a rocky start, the Bravo star insisted that their marriage was finally in a good place.

“Now that we are married any issues have all been resolved and they are all extremely supportive. My husband has my back. He knows my heart and even when I have disappointed him he never gives up on me,” she said.

Kenya admitted that she has learned a lot from married life, including how to deal with scrutiny from others.

“As a wife, I’ve had to learn what is between us is between us. We are in this together and he is my heart. We fight battles as a team and together we have to deal with what comes our way. We are one,” she stated.

Although her husband has been adamant about not appearing on the series, he tends to remain the topic of conversation among her cast mates.

Those interested in hearing more gossip about Daly, as well as Kenya’s view on her relationship, should tune into “Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 10 which airs Sundays at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
