Kenya Moore’s life on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” may be an open book, but when it comes to her husband, Marc Daly, the former Miss USA winner has gone to great lengths to keep both him and their marriage away from the prying eyes of her reality series.

The star’s hard work and dedication to keep her relationship private may have been the reason why she went off on Twitter after coming across a false story about her husband.

On Tuesday, Kenya replied to a tweet of an article suggesting that Marc was demanding money from Bravo in order to appear on Season 10 of the series. “Everyone Has a Price! Kenya Moore’s Husband Demands $25,000 to Film Scene On #RHOA,” the tweet read.

However, Kenya didn’t take kindly to the article and slammed the site, All About the Tea, for publishing a fake story.

“This story is completely false. My husband has NEVER asked for a penny to do this show. You people disgust me with your constant regurgitation of #fakenews just so you can get a click for pennies. Get a real job losers,” she replied.

Since July, rumors have been circulating that Kenya has been at risk of getting fired from the Bravo series. Producers have been reportedly pressuring her to force her husband to appear on the show, but she has refused.

The false article, which pulled its information from Radar Online, suggested Marc wanted $25,000 just to appear in one scene of an episode.

The reclusive restaurant owner reportedly refused to be on the show because he wasn’t fond of the way black men are portrayed on the series, but was willing to set aside his values for a check.

Although Kenya denied any truth to the report, this isn’t the first time her husband’s lack of appearance on the series has caused some drama in her life.

In October, sources told TMZ that Kenya was disinvited from a cast trip to Spain. Each season, the “RHOA” cast takes a luxurious vacation, where an epic fight typically takes place.

However, when Kenya refused to let production film scenes of her and Marc discussing the trip, they pulled her invite.

The network has yet to release a statement announcing Kenya’s termination or Marc’s upcoming appearance from the series. For now, fans can catch the former beauty queen on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 10 when it airs Sundays at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
