“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Erika Jayne will soon undergo surgery for an injury she suffered during her “Dancing With the Stars” stint.

The reality TV star posted a photo of herself while resting on her hospital bed via Instagram. Jayne did not say exactly why she was hospitalized, but an insider close to her confirmed that she suffered an injury while competing in the hit ABC reality TV show.

“It’s due to a ‘Dancing With the Stars’ injury. She hurt herself while doing the show but never talked about it because she didn’t want sympathy. But it’s the reason she didn’t dance in the finale. She’s having it fixed this weekend. She just went it. She’ll probably be there for a few days,” the source told E! News.

Jayne and her pro dancer partner, Gleb Savchenko, were eliminated from the competition in mid-April. They left the dance floor following their Disney night performance to Sia’s hit song, “Unforgettable,” which was featured in the hit movie “Finding Dory.”

Following their elimination, Jayne told ABC that she doesn’t have any regrets. In fact, she felt that she was booted off from the show at the right time as she was ready to leave. “It felt great. We ended on a high note. It was beautiful. It was emotional. We worked hard. I’m proud of us,” she said.

Jayne and Savchenko’s elimination didn’t come as a shock to the fans. After all, the couple never received high scores from any of the four judges. Often, judges Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, Julianne Hough and Carrie Ann Inaba would urge the reality TV star to give her dances more power and emotion. But on her final night on “Dancing With the Stars,” Jayne received nothing but praises from all four judges.

Goodman said, “I’ve said it many times, you are a lovely dancer, and it just hadn’t come out. Tonight it did. I loved the routine. It had a lovely mix, in hold and out hold, beautiful flowing movement, lovely arms. It was terrific. Well done.”

In the end, Jayne received a score of 32 out of 40, her highest score since the Season 24 premiere.
