New Hampshire State Police Saturday arrested a teenage driver for doing 127 mph on Interstate 93. Ryan Quinn, 19, of Newport, Rhode Island, was clocked by a Special Enforcement Unit plane that monitors traffic during high traffic and holiday periods.

The plane's pilot radioed troopers on the ground, who made the arrest, the Associated Press reported.

Quinn was charged with reckless driving and possession of a controlled substance, New England Cable News reported. A police patrol supervisor told Quinn did not appear impaired.

A Jan. 13 court date was set.
