The FBI said they’ve arrested a woman in the ricin letter cases, NY1 reports. The Texas woman, identified as Shannon Rogers Richardson, an actress based in New Boston, Texas, is in custody in connection with the poison-laced letters recently sent to U.S. President Barack Obama, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, and Bloomberg’s gun control advocacy group Mayors Against Illegal Guns.

All three letters, which were believed to have been sent by the same person, were postmarked from Shreveport, La., and contained the message “You will have to kill me and my family before you get my guns.”

Ricin is a highly lethal toxin that can kill an adult when ingested or inhaled in small doses. There were no reports of anyone at the mail-processing facilities being harmed by the ricin-laced letters.
