Rick Santorum Protest: Two Men Ejected After Kissing in Middle of Speech at Illinois Rally [VIDEO]

Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum was in the middle of his speech at a rally in Arlington Heights in Illinois on Friday when two men began kissing front and center during a crowd protest before being ejected. The video of the protest and the men kissing has gone viral around the Internet.

According to Patch.com, Timothy Tross of Lombard and Ben Clifford of Algonquin yelled Mic check! and began kissing 15 minutes into Santorum's speech at the Christian Liberty Academy in Arlington Heights, grabbing attention. The crowd began to chant U-S-A as the two men engaged in a passionate kiss.

Santorum did not address the incident, though, continuing his speech without falter.

The two were then seen escorted out of the building by security along with an unidentified male and female.

I don't think the message should be about what my sexuality is, Tross told Patch, without acknowledging whether or not he or Clifford are gay. It's the message that he's saying about sexuality that matters.

The kiss was further fueled by the protest in the street outside of the rally, with about 50 protesters holdings signs reading, LGBT No H8 and Catholics Against Santorum.

Santorum took the time during his campaign stop in Illinois to address the election and to criticize President Barack Obama before the Illinois 2012 Primary election on Tuesday.

We need a president who understands that America is the greatest country in the history of the world and what we've done across this country, across this world, it's not oppress, it's not invade, we are not invaders, we are not people that seek gain of territory, oil, property, Santorum said. What we seek is security for ourselves and liberty and prosperity for others and it's nothing to apologize for.
