Pop singer Rihanna broke her silence about her former boyfriend, Chris Brown, Thursday on Good Morning America saying that returning to him after he beat her was wrong.

Rihanna described the beating as humiliating and traumatizing. The singer also had advice for women dealing with domestic violence telling them to come out of the situation and look at it for what it really is.

The singer admitted that It's pretty natural for that to be the first reaction; to go back. She also confessed it takes a woman eight or nine times before she leaves.
