Rihanna has been named Esquire magazine's sexiest woman alive.

To celebrate the title, the 23-year-old Barbados singer posed for the magazine's November 2011 issue, and she's not wearing much in the photographs by Russell James, most famous for his work with Victoria's Secret models.

In the issue, Rihanna talks about everything from being on tour, her home in Barbados to ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.

Obviously, I had some resentment toward him for a while, for obvious reasons. But I've put that behind me. It was taking up too much of my time. I'm really excited to see the breakthrough he's had in his career. I would never wish anything horrible for him. Never. I never have, she told Esquire.

Rihanna, who succeeds the title from actress Minka Kelly, recently announced the release date of her upcoming album.

Following the success of her new single, We Found Love, Rihanna is set to release her sixth studio album, Talk That Talk on Nov. 21.

To date, Rihanna's last album, Loud, has sold more than 1.5 million copies in the U.S.
