Friday morning Rihanna kicked off NBC's Today show Toyota Concert Series with a performance in New York City's Rockefeller Center.

While on stage a male fan grabbed Rihanna as she walked by. Her backup dancers helped pull her away from the man. Rihanna kept on singing throughout the commotion.

The pop star first performed her new single S & M from her latest album Loud. She continued the concert with Only Girl (In the World), What's My Name, and California King Bed.

The 23-year-old singer chatted with the hosts of the Today show. It was her first time back on the show since June 2008.

I'm two times busier, Rihanna said in regards to what has changed since last on the Today show. I definitely am a very busy woman, but I love it. There are a lot of life experiences and a lot of great things that happened since I was 20 years old.
