Rihanna’s navy of fans is not here to play. The singer’s fan base took to Twitter Friday to destroy Eddy Cue, the senior vice president of Internet Software and Services at Apple, after he reportedly told her to “sit down” at Game 1 of the NBA Finals in Oakland, California, on Thursday as the Golden Gate Warriors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers in a 113-91 victory.

“@cue don't you ever fix your nonexistent lips to disrespect Rihanna ever again in your life,” netizen @clapbackanna wrote.

“Oh cancelling my Apple Music subscription @cue - no one yells at Rihanna, especially not a grown white man telling her to ‘sit down,’” @Glassbreakersco founder and CEO Eileen Carey said.

One person claimed Cue called Rihanna a b----. “We call women who are fans of basketball bitches now. I want a public apology not just for Rihanna but for my children as well @cue,” the internet user said.

Shara Tibken, a senior reporter for CNET and CBSI who covers Apple and Samsung, said Apple denied Cue told Rihanna to sit down. “.@Apple says @Cue was talking to someone he knew between him and @rihanna. He wasn't telling her to sit down,” she tweeted Friday.

The controversy around Cue broke out after Tibken identified “this man” as Cue to the internet. “LOL. 'This man' is @Apple's head of Internet SW and services, @cue. He's a HUGE @warriors fan. And, ironically, also oversees @AppleMusic,” she wrote.

She referenced a gif that showed Rihanna bowing to Cavaliers star LeBron James. After she was apparently heckled, she turned around and dabbed. “This man yelling at Rihanna to sit down during the game last night enrages me in a way that I can't even articulate,” one Twitter user captioned the gif.

Rihanna didn’t immediately respond to the controversy.

Even though her team lost, Rihanna still supported King James and Cavs after the game. When naysayers heckled her about James, she said, “It doesn't matter b----, the King was still the King.”

Being told to “sit down” wasn’t the only time Rihanna was criticized. She was accused of putting on weight after blogger Chris “Spags” Spagnuolo wrote a Wednesday article for the website Barstool Sports titled, “Is Rihanna Going to Make Being Fat the Hot New Trend?” In the story, he talked about her “high key thickness.”

The story was deleted, with the website’s founder Dave Portnoy issuing a semi-apology. “We have an extremely minor controversy going on with this fat shaming blog that Spags wrote. Lots of feminists not happy about it,” he said. “I don’t think the blog was as bad as many are making it out to be, but I’ll tell you this. It wasn’t that funny either and I could have told you with absolute certainty that feminists would hate it and use it as an example of ‘there goes Barstool being Barstool again.’”
