RIP James Garner: Celebrities Mourn ‘Notebook’ Star On Twitter

After celebrated actor James Garner died of natural causes in his Los Angeles home Saturday night, dozens of celebrities took to Twitter Sunday to mourn the actor’s death. He was 86.

Garner was a fixture in Hollywood for more than 50 years and was best known for the “Maverick” and “The Rockford Files” television shows though those from millennial generation best know him as Duke, the older version of Ryan Gosling’s character Noah, from the movie adaptation of Nicholas Spark’s romance novel “The Notebook.”
