Did Jughead (Cole Sprouse) kill Jason Blossom in “Riverdale” Season 1? The CW

“Riverdale” Season 1 cast member Cole Sprouse may have just revealed who is responsible for killing Jason Blossom (Trevor Stines).

On the show’s official Facebook page, the cast of the hit The CW series were asked to name the character they think was responsible for killing Jason. Sprouse, who plays the role of Jughead, said that he knows the culprit is his character. However, the former child star was most likely just joking because the identity of Jason’s killer is supposed to be kept a secret from fans until the big reveal.

Cast member Madelaine Petsch, who plays the role Jason’s sister, Cheryl, said that she thinks Miss Grundy (Sarah Habel) killed Jason because she’s very shady. The actress also thinks that Cheryl’s mom, Penelope (Nathalie Boltt), killed her own son.

Camila Mendes, who plays the role of Veronica, believes that Cheryl killed her own brother because the character is very crazy. On the other hand, Ashleigh Murray speculated that Principal Weatherbee (Peter Bryant) may have killed Jason as he has made it clear that he doesn’t want the students in school to investigate the latter’s death.

KJ Apa, who plays Archie, and Marisol Nichols, who plays the role of Hermione, both think that Jughead killed Jason. Apa believes that Jughead is keeping many secrets from his friends. One such secret will be revealed in next week’s episode of “Riverdale” Season 1.

In episode 8, titled “Chapter Eight: The Outsiders,” Jughead will finally come clean about his and his dad’s involvement in Jason’s demise. After all, the latter’s football jacket is being kept in their apartment. Jughead is concerned that his friends will no longer accept and trust him, but this won’t be the case. Archie, Betty (Lili Reinhart) and Veronica will help Jughead clear his name.

“Riverdale” Season 1, episode 8 will air on The CW on March 30 at 9 p.m. EST.
