It’s finally here. “Rizzoli & Isles” is left to air one last episode before the crime series wraps up for good on TNT. In last week’s episode, Homicide Detective Jane Rizzoli and Chief Medical Examiner Maura Isles solved two murder cases – one in the past and another in the present. Both of the murder victims were from Vince Korsak’s past. After solving the cases, Korsak announced his retirement and Maura broke the news that she wants to take a year off, settle down in France and write a novel.

It seems like all the characters are ready for their next adventure. However, before embarking on a new journey, Maura (Sasha Alexander), Jane (Angie Harmon), Korsak (Bruce McGill), Nina Holiday (Idara Victor) and Frankie Rizzoli, Jr. (Jordan Bridges) will solve one last case.

Watch the promo of Season 7, episode 13 (series finale), titled “Ocean-Frank,” below:

According to the official synopsis, Jane and Maura will be called to investigate the murder of a man handcuffed to a bed in his own home. Although it seems like a regular case on “Rizzoli & Isles,” the facts don’t add up. Hopefully, this case will be less confusing than the one shown in the previous episode where no explanation was given as to why the murderer, Robbie, killed Walter and Wendy.

While the Boston Police attempts to solve the case, Jane, Maura and the rest of the gang will also be busy preparing for a bon voyage party. Furthermore, everyone makes a video to say goodbye. All the characters in “Rizzoli & Isles” will say their farewells and embark on their next adventure.

Catch the series finale of “Rizzoli & Isles” on Monday, Sept. 5, at 9 p.m. EDT on TNT.
