British actor Robert Pattinson is the new face of Dior Homme fragrance, the New York Daily News confirmed Wednesday. The “Twilight” star has reportedly signed a $12 million contract.

The commercials and magazine ads with the 27-year-old heartthrob will be released soon, the news site wrote. Rumors have been swirling about which Hollywood actor would replace Jude Law as the new face of Dior.

"Today we are excited to announce that he will join the privileged circle of Dior faces. Photographed by American artist Nan Goldin and filmed by French director Romain Gavras, this new Dior Homme communication campaign is currently broadcast exclusively in Europe (except UK) and Asia (except China and Japan)," said Dior in a statement quoted by Telegraph Wednesday.

Pattinson first rose to fame starring in “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” but became Hollywood gold when he landed the role as Edward Cullen opposite Kristen Stewart in the “Twilight” films, which are based on Stephanie Meyer’s best-selling novels.

Pattinson and Stewart, who were soon dubbed R-Patz and K-Stew, began an onscreen/offscreen romance. Their love became strained after Stewart was caught cheating on Pattinson with her “Snow White and the Huntsman” director Rupert Sanders. The couple broke up for a few months, got back together and is supposedly separated once more.

The Hollywood star has most recently been linked to pop sensation Katy Perry, but neither have confirmed the rumors.

Pattinson’s next film, “The Rover,” is a Western that takes place in the Australian dessert, according to the Internet Movie Data Base. Its release date has not been revealed.
