Boost Mobile and Guerilla Union have announced the full lineup, list of dates and venues that will welcome the Rock the Bells 2012 Festival, featuring the likes of hip-hop artists like Kid Cudi, J Cole, Wiz Khalifa and Atmosphere, who will headline the festival.

Rock the Bells 2012 will kick off in San Bernadino, Calif. on Aug. 19 and 20 at the NOS Events Center before wrapping up in Neward, N.J. on Sept. 1 and 2 at PNC Arts Center. The festival information was announced on Tuesday at the House of Blues in Los Angeles at an official launch party.

Additional artists include Nas, Lupe Fiasco, Ice Cube, Salt-N-Pepa and Rza, to name a few. Bone Thugs-N-Harmony were announced as special guests to headline in a highly-anticipated reunion with The Hit Squad. In addition, Redman and Method Man will perform their entire debut LP Blackout.

Tickets will go on pre-sale beginning on May 19.

This year marks the first time since 2007 Rock the Bells will expand to two days over three weekends. The first festival was held in 2004 featuring a reunited Wu-Tang Clan and originally took place exclusively in Southern California. In 2008, Rock the Bells made its way overseas for the first time, with shows in Prague, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Helsinki, Paris and London.

But Rock the Bells is not just a hip-hop music festival, showcasing some of the best talents in the genre of music; The seminal festival is a non-profit organization in association with Hip Hop and Hope for Haiti, which provides relief efforts for post-disaster ridden Haiti.
