YouTube star and prankster Roman Atwood is turning 34, and the father of two has a lot to celebrate this year. Not only did he surpass 10 million subscribers on his YouTube Channel in 2016, but he has an impressive net worth as well.

Atwood, who first joined YouTube as a vlogger in 2009, has seen his channel grow exponentially in the last few years, and with that, his projected wealth also seems to have grown. The actual amount he is worth seems to vary, but it is estimated that he is worth anywhere between $4-$12 million.

Several different sources peg Atwood’s net worth at different amounts based on his success as a YouTube personality. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Atwood, best known for hidden camera pranks, is worth a staggering $12 million. According to that site, his estimated net worth comes from approximately $10 million in earnings each year from his various business ventures, which include his YouTube channel, an online store, and a clothing line called Smile More. He is also one of the highest paid personalities on YouTube as well.

Gazette Review however ranks him far lower in overall net worth, with a value of $4.5 million as of May 2016. That site doesn’t detail how that estimate came to be, but did note that as of April 2016, Atwood did have over 8 million subscribers on his channel. That number swelled to over 10 million by December, which likely helped increase his net worth as well.

Forbes calculated Atwood’s net worth at a median value compared to the other two estimates. There, his net worth was calculated at $8 million. The amount was determined before fees and taxes were subtracted and was based on data from Nielsen, IMDB, and interviews with agents, managers, lawyers, industry insiders and the stars themselves, according to the website.

Forbes estimated that Atwood’s $8 million came because his income grew 70 percent in one year due to his increased numbers of subscribers and video views overall. He also increased his income through a tour with fellow YouTuber Yousef Erakat, the feature film “Natural Born Pranksters,” an advance for an upcoming book, his online store, and endorsement deals.

Compared to other YouTube stars, Atwood is ranked as the second-highest earner. In 2016, he was beaten only by PewDewPie (real name Felix Avrid Ulf Kjelberg), who earned $15 million for his videos. His net worth managed to best other big stars, including Colleen Ballinger (aka Miranda Sings), Markiplier, Tyler Oakley, Rosanna Pansino and Lilly Singh.

Among some of Atwood’s most popular prank videos over the years are ones which also include his girlfriend, Brittney Smith, and his two sons, Kane and Noah. His “Killing My Own Kid Prank” video from 2015 and “Blowing Up My Kid Prank” video from 2016 have garnered over 51 million and 41 million views respectively. His most popular video stars Brittney, and is from 2013, where his attempt to prank her on their anniversary by claiming he cheated on her backfired after she then pranked him as well by claiming she had cheated too. That video has reached over 87 million views.
