Industrial production in Romania rose 11% month-on-month in February, following a revised 0.4% fall in January, the National Institute of Statistics said Wednesday. On a seasonal and working day-adjusted basis, output was down 0.6% in February.

Year-on-year, industrial output slid 14.5% in February, after falling 12.1% in January. After adjusting for seasonal and working day effects, industrial output dropped 12%.

Separately, the statistical office said the construction output rose 6.7% month-on-month in February, and adjusting for seasonal and working day effects, fell 8.7%.

On an annual basis, construction output fell 4.4%, and after seasonal and working day adjustments, declined 1.1% in February.
