Romania's trade deficit narrowed to EUR764 million in February from a EUR1.56 billion deficit in the previous year, the National Institute of Statistics said Thursday. In January, the trade deficit was EUR610.1 million.

On an annual basis, exports declined 27.7% to EUR2.07 billion, while imports fell 36% to EUR2.83 billion in February.

Month-on-month, exports increased 7.9%, while imports rose 12.1% in February.
