Rosie Huntington-Whiteley revealed that she has developed a fondness for Romeo Beckham, who is her co-star in the newly launched Burberry Christmas campaign. She was speaking to supermodel Naomi Campbell during an interview conducted by ITN, before the Burberry launch in London Tuesday. She recalled the first time she met Romeo was on a flight.
In fact the blonde beauty met all the Beckham kids on a flight, adding that all of them “were impeccably mannered and really, really sweet.” She recounted the funny incident how the 13-year-old Romeo came up to her, tapped her on the shoulder and asked: “Are you the Burberry model?”
“I think it was just after he did his first campaign and he stood and asked me loads of questions,” Rosie said. Romeo obviously wanted tips from the model as she has been working with the brand since 2008. The teen model kicked off his modeling career with a summer campaign for Burberry in 2013.
Meanwhile, David Beckham’s mini-me Romeo features in the holiday campaign for British luxury brand Burberry. The teen was a splitting image of his famous dad in the new festive campaign of the brand. David and Victoria Beckham’s son leads an all-British cast of actors, musicians and models in the quintessentially British festive ad campaign.
In the new advert, Romeo has rubbed shoulders with the likes of Michelle Dockery, Rosie, Campbell, Sir Elton John, James Corden, Julie Walters, Naomi Campbell, James Bay, George Ezra and Toby Huntington-Whiteley. The teen is now lending his star power to the luxury British brand’s Christmas campaign.
This is the second consecutive year that Romeo has starred in the Burberry Christmas campaign. The chief creative and executive officer of Burberry Christopher Bailey and his team paid a tribute to the classic film “Billy Elliot.”
At the premiere, Romeo looked dapper in a Burberry scarf and a suit and trouser combo, which he paired with a black tie. He was accompanied by his stylish mom Victoria and younger brother Cruz.
Rosie meanwhile, looking smoking hot in a risqué little black dress low cut dress, which she pared with matching thigh-high boots at the event.
