Nine months of pregnancy can spawn a lot of rumors for those in the limelight, but a royal baby on the way, well, ups the ante in rumorville.

The latest rumor involving pregnant Kate Middleton and Prince William, both 30, alleges the couple has chosen the name for their baby daughter, though the gender still has yet to be confirmed.

According to Friday’s issue of Us Weekly, the Duchess of Cambridge has decided on both a nickname and a birth name for the bun in the oven.

Nickname: “Our Little Grape.”

Name: Elizabeth Diana Carole.

Us Weekly reported the child’s real name pays homage to Queen Elizabeth, Prince William’s late mother Diana and Middleton’s mom, Carole. As HollywoodLife.com pointed out, “Carole is also the Latin variation of the name Charles, and Elizabeth is Kate’s mom’s middle name!” According to TheBump.com, the royal couple got the baby’s nickname from the size of the fetus in her utero.

However, the report is unofficial, since the couple -- nor the palace -- has yet to announce the gender of the baby, let alone its name, before it is born in July. Not to mention, Middleton said last week that the couple doesn’t even know the sex of the baby either.

"Nobody knows what William and Kate are calling their baby or even if they have decided on a name," a royal source told E! News. "They are being very careful to keep everything to themselves. The duke and duchess are taking their privacy very seriously. They are not speaking to anyone about these private matters."

Speculation of the baby’s gender heated up on March 5, when Middleton was visiting the National Fishing Heritage Centre in Grimsby, England. The Duchess was overheard in a video accepting a teddy bear gift from a fan, saying, "Thank you, I'll take that for my d…” Many have said Middleton cut herself off before getting out the word “daughter.”

Then, another video was released showing the full conversation, revealing what was actually said. After Middleton said her thanks, the gift-giver asked, "Did you say my daughter?" Middleton, seemingly confused by the woman’s question, then responded: "Ahh .. no, no, no, no. I'm sure [I didn't say 'my daughter'], I'm sure. We don't know!"

The woman, Lisa Hewson, who shot the video footage, told the Grimsby Telegraph, she was trying to assist the duchess clear rumors up.

"Kate does such a good job, and people are always picking and pulling her apart," Hewson said. "If you know something isn't true and it is causing trouble, you have to do the right thing, and, hopefully, that is what I am doing here. I am sure the lady genuinely thought she heard what she said she did, and I don't want to make her look bad. All I am saying is this is my video; if you want to listen to it, here it is. She might look at it and think, 'Oh my god, I've got it wrong.'"
