With just days away from the expected birth of the first child to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, royal baby bump watch is in full effect. In an effort to migrate throughout the large amount of buzz surrounding the addition of the world’s newest member of the British royal family, here are the answers to five important questions about the Middleton’s upcoming birth:

  1. 1. What Day Is Middleton Due?

While the exact due date is unknown, it was originally speculated in the Daily Mail that the Duchess would welcome her bundle of joy into the world on Saturday. An unidentified source revealed to the British tabloid that the couple announced the date during a family barbecue in May. A Royal Palace spokesperson refused to comment on the report, only confirming that July will be the month of the baby’s birth.

2. Is She Having A Boy Or A Girl?

The royal couple has remained mum throughout the entire pregnancy regarding whether they’re expecting a future prince or princess. Despite no official confirmation of the babies’ gender, a May report from the UK Mirror’s Sunday People claimed that Prince Harry accidentally revealed the sex of the child. A source claimed that the royal told close friends he is expecting a “little nephew.” Prince William’s cousin, Princess Eugenie, also allegedly told friends that the child is male.

  1. 3. What Will William And Kate Name Their Baby?

With the gender unknown, many male and female names are currently being speculated by bidders. Us Weekly reported in March that the royal couple planned to play homage to multiple family members with the name Elizabeth Diane Carole. According to the Huffington Post, “Alexandra” is the most popular female name with bidders with current 2-1 odds. If the baby is a boy, bidders are betting on the name George, with current 12-1 odds.

4. When Will The Royal Family Announce The Birth?

News of the birth of the highly anticipated child is planned to be reported mere minutes following its entrance into the world. According to the Daily Mail, a doctor-signed proclamation will be displayed in front of Buckingham Palace directly after the child’s birth. The proclamation will be available for public viewing on an easel, the same one last used to announce the birth of Prince William.

  1. 5. Where Will Middleton Give Birth?

In the honor of tradition, Middleton will give birth at the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London, the same facility where Princess Diana delivered Prince William in 1982. The hospital quarters costs a reported 10,000 euros ($12,870) per day, according to the Daily Mail, and includes satellite TV, Champagne and kitchen staff.
