Wimbledon championship is all about sensational games, fashion statements and the celebrities who come to cheer their favorite players.

From royals to music artists, actors and players; the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in Wimbledon has been a unique spectacle. Members of the British Royal Family who attended the 2011 event include the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Princess Beatrice.

Earlier, players were required to bow when members of the Royal Family either entered or left the central court. However, since 2003, the President of the All England Club, His Royal Highness the Duke of Kent, decided to discontinue the tradition.

The players are required to follow the tradition only if Her Majesty the Queen or the Prince of Wales is present.

Apart from them, other celebrities who were a part of this year's tournament include Hollywood star Kim Cattrall, actor Rupert Grint, US singer Diana Ross, cricket player Sachin Tendulkar, athlete Kelly Holmes and former Wimbledon champion Martina Navratilova.
