British actress Elizabeth Hurley wants to keep it all in the family at work. The star of the E! original scripted series “the Royals,” thinks that it is a good idea to have her teenage son Damian do a cameo on the show.

"I'm very lucky that I have my son with me to run my lines because we shoot right over vacation it means the kids can come on set the whole time,” said Hurley, as she spoke to E! Online on the set of “The Royals.”

The show is currently in production for Season 2, which is being filmed in London. She said that she is dying to have her son appear on the show. She also said that Executive Producer Mark Schwahn is open to the idea, and it remains to be seen if Hurley can lobby for a small part for her 12-year-old son.

“It's good work experience as well as fun for them I think,” she continued.

Hurley plays Queen Helena in the series, where she already has two children. Prince Liam (William Moseley) and Princess Eleanor (Alexandra Park) have a less-than ideal relationship with their mother. In fact, both children are currently hating on their mother after she told them that they are her kids from an illicit affair, and not the King’s children.

Her relationship with her real son is in a much better state. E! News reported that Damian is definitely interested in exploring a TV or film career once he gets older. A cameo on the series could very well be his debut into the industry.

“The Royals” is set to return in November only on E!.
