  <description>Financial software company S1 Corp. said Wednesday its board had authorized an increase to its previously approved stock repurchase program Between May 2007 and August 2008, the company spent $52 million to repurchase 6.9 million shares, according to a quarterly report filed in August with the Securities and Exchange Commission. It has another $8 million available for repurchases, the company said in a press release Wednesday.</description>
