  <description>A group of farm workers has reached an agreement with Subway restaurant chain to pay workers a penny more per pound of tomatoes picked. The deal announced Tuesday by the Coalition of Immokalee Workers mirrors earlier agreements with Taco Bell, McDonald's and Burger King. Under the agreement, Connecticut-based Subway has also agreed to have an outside entity verify the money was passed on to workers. Subway has more than 30,000 restaurants in 87 countries.</description>
