One advertising company pulled its commercials from Rush Limbaugh's show Friday in response to Limbaugh's controversial comments about female law student Sandra Fluke. Sleep Train Mattress Centers specifically responded to a wave of tweets that asked the company to withdraw it's ads from Limbaugh's show. The company announced on it's own twitter, We don't condone negative comments directed toward any group. In response, we are currently pulling our ads from Rush with Rush Limbaugh.

Limbaugh is currently being criticized for responding to Fluke's testimony by calling her a slut and a prostitute. He argued that she was having so much sex that she needed taxpayers to pay for her contraception. He further added insult to injury by concluding, if we're going to pay for your contraceptives and thus pay for you to have sex, we want something for it. We want you to post the videos online so we can all watch.

After viewing the successful twitter campaign to have Sleep Train Mattress Center remove its ads from Limbaugh's show, many other users began to plead to other sponsors such as Pro Flowers and eHarmony to follow suit. In response Pro Flower tweeted, We would like to assure you that we do not endorse the views expressed by Rush Limbaugh. We understand your concerns and value your feedback. Similarly dating website eHarmony tweeted, We've never paid for ads on Limbaugh. We're looking into the matter of 'network buys' & will let you know what we discover.
