Thursday, The Bank of Russia said in a report that nation's inter national reserves stood at US$ 384.8 billion as of April 17, up from US$ 383.9 billion in the previous week.

The international reserve assets comprise monetary gold, SDR holdings, reserve position in IMF, foreign exchange and other claims.

In March, official reserves stood at US$ 383.9 billion, down from US$ 384.1 billion in February. At the same time, gold reserve amounted to US$ 15.8 billion, smaller than the US$ 15.9 billion in the prior month.

Meanwhile, nation's reserve position with the International Monetary Fund totaled US$ 1.19 billion in March, up from 1.004 billion recorded in the previous month.
