Bam Margera broke down in tears while visiting the scene of the crash that took the life of his best friend and Jackass costar, Ryan Dunn.

Dunn, 34, and his passenger Zachary Hartwell, 30, both died in the accident when Dunn's 2007 Porsche crashed in West Goshen, Pa., Monday.

I've never lost anybody that I care about. He's my best friend, Margera told Fox 28's Chris O'Connell at the scene of the crash Tuesday. He was the happiest person ever, the smartest person, with so much talent. He had so many things going for him. It's just not right, it's not right.

Margera said he was in Arizona when he received what he called the worst phone call I've ever got in my life.

He also told O'Connell that he felt something was not right the night of the accident.

At 12:30 (local time), I just started punching out the windows of the rental van and ripping out the speakers, and I don't even know why, Margera said. I wasn't mad at anything or anybody. If it was 12:30 there (in Arizona), that means it was exactly when he crashed.

Dunn had accrued 23 driving violations before his death in a car crash, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported Wednesday. Of the 23 citations, 10 were attributed to speeding and careless driving.

He drove too fast, said April Margera, the mother of one of his Jackass costars Bam Margera. I yelled at him all the time about that.

Authorities say that after an accident reconstruction, Dunn's Porsche might have been traveling as fast as 130 mph when it jumped a guardrail, flew into a ravine and burst into flames, TMZ reported.

Officials were awaiting the results of toxicology tests to determine if alcohol played a role.
