According to police, Ryan Dunn was driving his Porsche at a speed of 130 MPH when he hit a guardrail, propelling the sportscar into the woods where it erupted into flames.

The accident killed the Jackass star and his passenger, Zachary Hartwell, instantly - but according to the Chester County Coroner, the autopsy could not determine whether the friends died from the impact itself or the subsequent fire.

I've never seen a car destroyed in an automobile accident the way this car was even before it caught on fire, West Goshen Police Chief Michael Carroll told RadarOnline. The automobile actually came apart. It was unbelievable and I've been on a lot of fatal accident scenes. This is by far the worse I've ever seen.

The speed limit on the stretch of Pennslyvania's Route 322 where the crash took place is 55 MPH.

Dunn's car, a 2007 Porsche 911 GT3, can go from 0 to 60 MPH in just four seconds, and has a top speed of 192 MPH.
