Jackass star Ryan Dunn's memorial service took place on Wednesday in peace and without disturbance. The private ceremony was held at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home in West Chester, PA.

Dunn's obituary said he is survived by the love of his life, Angela M. Cuturic and his parents. In lieu of flower contributions, the obituary urged fans and friends to make donations to the Garth Brooks Teammates for Kids.

The private memorial service was attended by Dunn's parents, his colleague Bam Margera and Margera's parents, and his colleague Johnny Knoxville. His body will be laid to rest in his home state of Ohio, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Outside the funeral home, some members of the media and police force were there in anticipation of disruptive protestors from the Westboro Baptist Church, who said they would show up for Dunn's funeral.

However, Westboro specified it would protest Dunn's public funeral/ceremony. Wednesday's service was private.

Westboro is notorious for their hateful fringe religious doctrine and their infamous protests at the funerals of prominent individuals they deemed sinful. For Dunn, the group claimed he sinned by promoting porn-level filth...to get rich off a perverse generation.

Dunn was an entertainer who performed outrageous stunts that pushed the bounds of societal norms.

His public memorial service will be announced at a later date. Presumably, Westboro will show up and protest there.

CORRECTION: An earlier version referred to Dunn's ceremony as a funeral. However, Dunn has not been buried and the event on Wednesday was officially called a service by the funeral home.
