Hey girl, Ryan Gosling’s face might look like a bloody hamburger, but dont worry, it’s not permanent.

Thousands of women’s hearts dropped into their stomachs when a poster of a beaten-up Ryan Gosling for “Only God Forgives” surfaced on Monday.

It’s the second film Gosling has made with Danish writer and director Nicolas Winding Refn, who directed him in the 2012 drama “Drive.”

The 32-year-old actor is playing an ex-boxer turned criminal. The Internet Movie Data Base describes "Only God Forgives" as, “A Bangkok police lieutenant and a gangster settle their differences in a Thai-boxing match.”

The film is reportedly based on a true story and is set to debut in theaters on May 23.

Luke Evans was originally cast as the lead for “Only God Forgives,” but dropped out because of scheduling conflicts with “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.” Gosling then stepped in for the film, which was shot in Bangkok, according to IMDB. Kristin Scott Thomas and Tom Burke are also in the cast.

No need to worry about Gosling’s face; it’s all make and prosthetics.

“The first poster for Ryan Gosling's new flick, 'Only God Forgives,' has us in tears,” wrote Perez Hilton on his gossip site. “What did they do to his flawless face??”

Even though Gosling is playing a criminal in the movie, the Canadian heartthrob is more of a hero in real life.

He was credited with saving a British tourist in Manhattan from being squashed by a taxi in April, just a few months after he stepped in to break up a fight in New York City.

Gosling’s gal pal Eva Mendez has not publicly commented on the actor’s bruised face in the “Only God Forgives” poster.
