RTTNews - Friday, the South African Reserve Bank said in a report that the net reserves stood at US$ 34.502 billion in May, up from US$ 33.418 billion in April.

At the same time, gross reserves climbed to US$ 35.842 billion from US$ 34.0.47 billion.

In May, the gold reserves increased to US$ 3.905 billion from US$ 3.538 billion in April.

Foreign exchange reserves stood at US$ 31.937 billion, rising from US$ 30.509 billion in April.
