Carol Burnett is better than Leonardo DiCaprio, at least according to Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. The two comedians were sure to get in a few digs at the celebrated actor during the 2016 Screen Actors Guild Awards. They presented Carol Burnett with a lifetime achievement award at Saturday’s ceremony at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

DiCaprio was among those in the audience nominated. He received a best lead actor nod for his role in “The Revenant,” a drama about a man surviving a bear attack. However, Fey and Poehler said they were more impressed with Burnett’s achievements in comedy.

“Let’s all calm down about Leonardo DiCaprio and how hard it was to shoot ‘The Revenant,’ O.K.? So you slept in a horse and ate bison liver. Big whoop,” Poehler said. “Carol would’ve slept in that horse, worn it, done a song and dance and made a much funnier face after eating something very disgusting.”

DiCaprio seemed to chuckle along with the "Sisters" actresses. They further explained that it wasn’t just DiCaprio who can’t live up to Burnett’s talent — no one is quite as good as the 82-year-old.

“The point is, Carol is better than all of us,” Fey said. “We're going to give her a prize for it.”
