The witching hour is upon us!

Time to gather your sage and protection amulets because WGN America has released details about the Season 3 premiere of their supernatural series “Salem.” According to the network, the chilling, 13-episode installment will haunt viewers when the spooky show returns in October during the week of Halloween.

“Good things come to those who wait…” Shane West, who portrays John Alden in “Salem,” tweeted out. “SALEM. Goes down better during Halloween, don’t ya think?”

Deadline revealed that Season 3 will pick up with the witches conjuring up a devilish plan to bring Satan to Earth. The spell-binding sorcerers want to revamp the New World by resurrecting their evil idol, but little do they know they’ll be duped by the wicked creature. The devil has his own plans for the New World and it involves destroying all of humanity — starting with the people of Salem.

But is the city of Salem doomed? Or will a champion rise from the ashes to take on the devil? When Season 2 of the series conclude, the fate of Mary Sibley (Janet Montgomery) was uncertain. However, in the trailer for the upcoming series, it appears Mary may have risen from her grave.

“Mary?” John asks in a breathy voice as he sees a shadowy figure resembling the devil’s mother in the dark.

Marilyn Manson will guest star during the third installment of “Salem” as the character Thomas Grinley — a barber and surgeon located in the supernatural town. Montgomery shared a picture of her on set with the singer with the caption, “Nuff said.”

Nuff said.
