Samanthan Ronson Charged With DUI, Ali Lohan Gets Modeling Contract

The 33 year-old DJ and ex-girlfriend of Lindsay Lohan, Samanthan Ronson, has been charged with two misdemeanor accounts from her DUI arrest on Aug. 1. Reuters reports that Ronson has been seen driving under the influence with blood alcohol levels of over .08.

Ronson had been pulled over near Baker, CA for driving her car 19 miles over the speed limit. She did not submit to a breath test on the scene, but finally took one at the Sheriff's Substation. Ronson was taken to a jail in Barstow where she gave a little smirk in her mugshot.

Despite her bad girl grin, police reported that Ronson was not difficult at all. "She was friendly and talkative," an officer said. "She was cooperative throughout the whole ordeal."

Ronson can face up to 6 months in jail and a $1,000 fine.

On the other hand, Lindsay Lohan's little sister is making news for good things. While her older sister is facing legal troubles, Ali Lohan signed a modeling contract with NEXT Model Management. The company also represents Miranda Kerr, Petra Nemcova, and Molly Sims.

"In fashion, Ali will set herself apart as a bona fide icon. One that fashion fans will follow not because of her famous last name, but because of the beautiful images and fashion trends she is helping create," NEXT director, Alexis Borges said about the 17 year-old.

Many are proud Ali is working on something positive for herself.
