Following the quick visit to the certification authority, Samsung’s Galaxy C5, a brand new device in "C" lineup, has become one of the heavily-rumored, wallet-friendly handsets. This device will be unveiled sometime today.

Even though, specifications and features of the handset have been leaked in the past, Sam Mobile has ferreted out official Galaxy C5 renders in a slew of vivid colors like Silver, Gray, Pink Gold and Gold. The photos look like they will be part of the press kit and they show the handset from every angle.

Speaking of rumored specifications, the Galaxy C5 will reportedly feature a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display, bundled with a Full HD screen resolution of 1,080 x 1,920 pixels. This display combination translates to a pixel density of 424ppi, which is not bad for a mid-ranger.

When it comes to camera configuration, a 16-megapixel rear-facing sensor with dual-LED flash has been tipped, along with a generous 8-megapixel front-facing snapper for selfies and video chats. On the software front, the handset will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

Under the hood, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 617 SoC will be powering the handset. Even though, this is a budget-friendly handset, Samsung has apparently backed the hardware configurations with a whopping 4GB of RAM.

Apart from the standard connectivity options, the Galaxy C5 will reportedly support LTE. Plus, this is a dual-SIM handset.

Furthermore, Samsung has reportedly housed a non-removable 2,600 mAh battery unit to keep the lights on. This smartphone will apparently come equipped with 32GB and 64GB of built-in storage capacity, along with a microSD card slot to facilitate further expansion.

Even though, the price of Galaxy C5 has not been confirmed yet, Sam Mobile expects it to cost around $330.
