The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 seems to be popping up every few days in one way or another. This time, a photo leak has surfaced showing the entirety of a device identified as the Galaxy Note 3.

Late last week, a leaked photo of the alleged Galaxy Note 3 showed off the top right corner of a device thought to be the new phablet. Prior to that, another leaked photo showed a large and boxy device that many presumed be the Galaxy Note 3 in a decoy outer shell. Before that, yet another leaked photo surfaced with a note claiming it was taken by the Galaxy Note 3. With no confirmations from Samsung about the phablet, we have no way of knowing whether any of these leaks are actually images of the Galaxy Note 3.

But that has never stopped leaks from surfacing for a yet-to-be-released device. The most recent leak of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is brought to us by Weibo user ICTech, who shared a photo of a device that is shown in full but slanted to the side, which effectively hides a number of identifying features, such as dimensions and screen size.

With every leak, enthusiasts turn out to scrutinize and doubt. Many note that the device shown could easily be mistaken for a Samsung Galaxy S4 or a Samsung Galaxy Mega due to its shape and physical home button. However, many rule out the Galaxy S4 due to the placement of the power button on the leaked device. The power button on the Galaxy S4 is higher up on the right side of the handset while the button on the leaked device is more toward the middle. This makes the device look eerily similar to the Galaxy Mega 6.3; however, the button on the leaked device appears to be ever so slightly lower than the one on the Galaxy Mega. This is one of the features that's difficult to confirm, due to the angle of the device.

We also note some differences between this leak and the leak right before this one. Most prominent, the device in the most recent leak has Samsung branding on top of the device, while the device in the prior leak does not. This leads us to believe that the devices in these two leaks may not be the same. In addition, the device in the most recent leak seems to have a sensor next to a front camera in its top right corner, while the device in the prior leak seems to have only a sensor in that area. We do realize that due to the device’s dark color, it is difficult to definitively see its sensor and camera placements; however, the evidence in front of us does appear damning.

Keep in mind that Samsung does a pretty good job at keeping the designs of its high-end devices under wraps. Actual leaks and sneak peeks, likely orchestrated by Samsung itself, usually don’t surface until days before a device is set to launch. The Note 3 is expected to be unveiled in September at the IFA Expo in Berlin, so we likely have a few months before we see any legitimate device leaks.

Other Note 3 rumors propose a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with an Adreno 330 GPU, as well as a 13-megapixel main camera and S Pen capabilities. The device’s purported 5.99-inch display will likely be Full HD, and it will likely run the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system with the Samsung TouchWiz user interface on top.

Do you think that any of the recently leaked devices are actually the Samsung Galaxy Note 3? Let us know in the comments below.
