Purported device specifications and Antutu benchmark details of the rumored Samsung (KRX:005935) Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 were leaked online on Wednesday, a new report said, adding that the upcoming tablet is likely to receive a unique user interface that will be different from the company’s existing tablet UI.

According to the report from SamMobile, the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, one of four tablets that are likely to be launched by the South Korean tech giant in early 2014, is expected to be available in two variants -- the Wi-Fi and the 4G LTE version -- with model numbers SM-P900 and SM-P905 respectively.

The SamMobile report said that the 4G LTE-enabled Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 models could feature a 12.2-inch display with a massive resolution of 2560×1600 (WQXGA) pixels and 16:10 aspect ratio. The tablets could be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor (8974-AA) clocking at 2.3GHz, and Adreno 330 GPU with a clock speed of 450MHz.

However, it is unclear whether the Wi-Fi version of the tablet will also feature the same Snapdragon chip or Samsung’s own Exynos SoC.

The device is also said to sport 3GB of RAM, an eight-megapixel rear camera sensor, which is expected to be capable of shooting Full HD 1080p video. The tablet could also have a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling.

Under the hood, the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 is speculated to have the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system out of the box, and a new version of Samsung’s TouchWiz interface. In terms of connectivity, the tablet could offer Wi-Fi 802.11ac support in addition to the usual a/b/g/n wireless standards, NFC and Bluetooth 4.0 + LE.

An infrared, or IR, blaster is also rumored to be included in the tablet for remote-control access using Samsung’s WatchON service.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 scored 34,261 points in the alleged Antutu benchmark. However, the SamMobile report said the tablet was running experimental test software, and that there are chances that the device could score up to 40,000 points in the same benchmark while using proper software.

Media reports surfaced last week saying that AT&T (NYSE:T) has been testing many new devices, including Samsung’s Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 with the model number SM-P907A.

Rumors also have it that Samsung could introduce the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, along with other tablets, at the Mobile World Congress, which is scheduled to be held from Feb. 24 to Feb. 27 in Barcelona, Spain.
