The Samsung Galaxy S3, rumored to be the next flagship smartphone from the South Korean electronics giant, is expected to be launched in February, according to the latest reports, at the 2012 Mobile World Congress to be held in Barcelona.

A big selling point of the Samsung Galaxy S3 is going to be its particularly powerful camera, which is expected to be an impressive 12 megapixel. This is a 50 percent increase on both the forward facing cameras found on the iPhone 4S and the Galaxy Nexus, rated at just 8 megapixel.

The S3 camera is expected to have features like autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection and image stabilization features. Again a 1080p video recording is expected along with a 2 megapixel secondary camera.

In addition, the S3 will have a 4.6-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen at 1280 × 720-pixel resolution supporting LTE. Also the S3 is expected to arrive with a version of the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich release. In addition, it is expected that the Galaxy S3 handset is set to go 3-D.
