Samsung Galaxy S4 Release Date Arrives: Find Out Which T-Mobile Stores In New York Will Sell The Phone On May 8

Wednesday marks the beginning of the end of inventory delays for the Samsung Galaxy S4 on T-Mobile. The network is expected to start offering the smartphone in stores on May 8.

Several carriers including T-Mobile were forced to push back their release dates for the Galaxy S4 after the Korean manufacturer said the device would see limited availability in its preliminary release due to “overwhelming demand.”

The T-Mobile Galaxy S4 became available online last month, though it said retail stores wouldn't start carrying the device until May 8 at select locations with nationwide availability beginning May 15.

While T-Mobile hasn't officially provided much detail about exactly which locations will begin selling the Galaxy S4 tomorrow, customers should be able to get some answers by asking at their local T-Mobile stores.

All other New York City area T-Mobile locations will begin carrying the Samsung Galaxy S4 on May 15.

Customers should be advised that supplies remain limited even at locations that will begin offering the Galaxy S4 on Wednesday. A T-Mobile sales representative told us that availability is on a first-come, first-served basis, so try to get to your T-Mobile location as early as possible.
