The Galaxy S8 is now available in stores, but the latest flagship may not be the best option for Samsung enthusiasts who are hoping to save a bit of money on their next smartphone. The Galaxy S8 sells for around $750 and the Galaxy S8 Plus sells for around $850, which is a steep price, even with the monthly payment plan options many carriers now offer for devices.

Luckily, Samsung’s next best option, the Galaxy S7, and Galaxy S7 Edge are still available in stores and online. Prices for the 2016 flagship models are dropping at both carriers and retailers, and will likely continue to drop as the Galaxy S8 matures on the market.
