Following the teasers of Galaxy S7 Batman Edition, we now have news about the Pink Gold variant. Even though, Samsung introduced the Pink Gold variant of Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge in South Korea last month, the release date was not revealed. Instead, Samsung stuck to the “coming soon” status.

However, now, T-Mobile’s Netherland unit has listed the Pink Gold Galaxy S7 variants saying the device will be made available for purchase starting Thursday, June 23. At this point, there is no word available on the release date outside Netherlands. However, as this handset is being sold under T-Mobile, it is being assumed that this variant will hit the store shelves in the U.S. at some point.

Except for the anodized exterior, the Pink Gold models are apparently identical to the original S7 versions and hence, the configurations remain the same. This means, the Pink Gold Samsung Galaxy S7 will feature the same 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display, aided by 2,560 x 1,440 pixels resolution and Corning’s Gorilla Glass 4 protection.

Under the hood, either Samsung’s own Exynos 8890 or Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 chipset will power the handset. The S7 series comes backed by 4GB of RAM configuration. From the software end, Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS runs the smartphone out of the box with TouchWiz UI on top of it.

Camera-wise, Samsung has housed a 12-megapixel rear-facing sensor and a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper for selfies and video chats. A fingerprint scanner has been embedded on the home button. Keeping the lights on is a non-removable Li-Ion 3,600 mAh battery cell. Unlike the predecessor, the S7 series comes with a microSD card slot to help expand the memory.
