A new leak shows the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 in Silver hue and the Edge variant in Black color. The same leak also corroborates some of the key speculations.

Recently, a slew of press renders of the Galaxy S7 leaked online. However, the renders did not show a Silver variant of the Galaxy S7. Now, Evan Blass of @evleaks fame has uploaded a Silver hued flagship.

Sam Mobile, on the other hand, has published a photo of the Galaxy S7 Edge in Black hue, with fingerprints all over it. To top it off, another leaked image showing the tail end of the Galaxy S7 Edge confirms that the upcoming device will not house a USB Type-C port. Instead, Samsung will settle for the traditional microUSB port.

Moving on to other rumored Galaxy S7 specifications and features, this flagship is believed to come with waterproofed exterior, similar to Sony Xperia handsets. Samsung recently teased this aspect of the flagship in a short video. Plus, microSD card slot will apparently make a comeback.

Camera-wise, a 12-megapixel sensor will be mounted on the back of the Galaxy S7. Although, Samsung is not expected to bring back the removable battery option, it has apparently improved the capacity of the battery to 2,800 mAh from 2,550 mAh in Galaxy S6.

There is no surprise that Android 6.0 Marshmallow will run the handset with the latest version of TouchWiz UI on top of it. Under the hood, Snapdragon 820 SoC will power the Galaxy S7 headed to the U.S. Other configurations include 5.1-inch display, 1440p screen resolution and 4 GB of RAM.

However, consumers should note that Samsung has not confirmed any S7-related information thus far.
